Move In and Onboarding

It's move in day! We know move in can be an exciting time but it can also be a stressful time. 

In this article, we are going to walk you through the Move-In and Onboarding steps so you get settled in quickly.

Once you've picked up your keys and parking pass inside the lockbox it's time for you to step inside your new home.

Upon move-in you will receive a couple emails from us:

1. Digital Onboarding: This packet will tell you everything you need to know so you enjoy all the benefits our property has to offer for many years to come. This packet covers everything from maintenance request to periodic inspections. This is also where you can learn more about the Tenant Appreciation Program.

2. Resident Login information: so you can manage your apartment online for payments and more. 

3.  Digital Statement of Condition and Digital Resident Move In Condition Checklist: We will provide an outline of how we are delivering the property to you and you have the opportunity to document if anything is damaged or problematic.

For the digital Statement of Condition, we've fully documented the condition of the property with color photos labeled by room and fixture. The importance of the photos protects your security deposit deductions from pre-existing condition charges, it protects our property so there is clear and convincing evidence of its original condition. It is a win win for all involved.

For the digital Resident Move In Condition Checklist, this is your opportunity to walk around the apartment and document in the form and with pictures anything in the property that looks damaged or problematic. The Checklist must be completed with 24 hours of the move in date on your lease.

It is our goal to give all of our tenants every opportunity to maximize their security deposit refund and we believe this move in process plays a crucial role. 

If we do not receive your completed Resident Move In Condition Checklist electronically within 24 hours, we will take that as confirmation that you agree with what is documented in our Statement of Condition.

Now that all the housekeeping is done, its time to make your new place your home.
